We have experience in the Fruit, Fresh produce warehousing, Poultry, Fishing, Ice making, Water/glycol chillers, Wine and Beverage Industries. In keeping abreast with industry requirements, MRE have recently successfully completed numerous forced cooling tunnels for grapes and other fruit types.

MRE have experience of handling of products and understand how to maintain the cold chain. MRE have design knowledge in all of the above applications. Separate forced cooling tunnels is relatively new and MRE have had great success in this field.

Fishing
MRE have designed and installed refrigeration equipment for the following disciplines within the fishing industry:

Plate freezers
Flake Ice machines
MRE have experienced design engineers that are able to design your refrigeration plant to your specific requirements. MRE have supplied fully automated Ice Bunkers which are operated by the use of smart cards. This complies with European Standards of Hygiene and reduces labour costs substantially.
This particular freezer was installed in the fishing industry. The coil is floor mounted with the fans positioned above a false ceiling, thus ensuring correct air flow both through the product and over the cooling coil.

Wine & Beverages
This is a 2800 kWR installation in the wine industry. Glycol is cooled via a gravity feed plate heat exchanger. The glycol in turn is used for fermentation and cooling of cider.
